Mt. Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station
Located about 2,300 meters above sea level, this is the highest point reachable by car and one of the most popular viewing areas. See Mt. Fuji's peak up close and enjoy panoramic views of the Fuji Five Lakes area. Visit the historic Komitake Shrine and explore the shops and restaurants.
Arakurayama Sengen Park
Home to the famous Chureito Pagoda, offering one of the most iconic photo opportunities of Mt. Fuji. Climb 398 steps to reach the pagoda for panoramic views of Fuji Five Lakes, surrounding mountains, and the town below. Perfect for combining nature and classic Japanese scenery.
Lake Kawaguchiko
One of the Fuji Five Lakes and one of the best places for clear, postcard-like views of Mt. Fuji. Known for its mirror-like reflection on calm days, making it a favorite for photographers. Enjoy seasonal scenery—cherry blossoms in spring, colorful foliage in autumn, and snow-capped peaks in winter.
Oishi Park
A scenic lakeside park on the northern shore of Lake Kawaguchiko, offering some of the best views of Mt. Fuji with the lake in the foreground. Features seasonal flower gardens—cherry blossoms in spring, lavender fields in summer, and red kokia shrubs in autumn. Perfect for photography and relaxing strolls.
Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nemba
A traditional Japanese village rebuilt after a landslide, now serving as an open-air museum. Explore thatched-roof houses converted into museums, galleries, and workshops. Experience kimono or samurai armor dress-up, and learn about traditional Japanese life and architecture with Mt. Fuji in the background.
